Privacy Policy

This policy explains how AITEST S.R.L., trading as aiduty and operating https://aiduty.dev, handles personal data. AITEST S.R.L. is the data controller.

What we collect

aiduty is a marketing site. The only personal data you actively provide is through the contact form:

• your name and work email address;
• the type of engagement you select;
• any message you choose to write.

When you submit the form, our server also records, from the request itself:

• the referring page and your browser's user-agent string;
• a truncated form of your IP address (shortened to a network prefix, not the full address), which is enough to recognise abusive traffic but not to identify you.

We do not use advertising cookies and we do not track you across other sites.

Analytics, only if you agree

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages bring engineering teams here. It is off by default: no Google script is loaded and no analytics cookie is written unless you press Accept on the consent banner.

If you do accept, it sets cookies in your browser and sends Google a record of the pages you view, your approximate location derived from your IP address, and your device and browser type. IP addresses are anonymised. We have not enabled any advertising features, so this data is not used to build an advertising profile of you or to follow you onto other sites. Google acts as our processor for this and may process the data outside the EU under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

If you accept and later change your mind, clear this site's data in your browser (Site settings, then Clear data) and the banner will ask again. You can also opt out with Google's browser add-on, or by blocking cookies for this site. Nothing on the site stops working if you do.

Why we use it, and on what basis

We use this data solely to respond to your enquiry and to manage the resulting business conversation. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in replying to a request you sent us, and, where relevant, taking steps at your request before entering a contract. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for automated decision-making.

Who processes it

Submissions are stored in our own database. We use a third-party email provider (Resend) to deliver a notification of your enquiry to our team. That provider processes the notification on our behalf under its own data-protection terms. Engineers who later work on your account do so under confidentiality obligations.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting relationship, and then delete it. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to it. To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority. In Romania this is the ANSPDCP.
